UNICORN FOUNDATION AWARD 2012
The 2012 Unicorn Foundation Award is now open for applications.
The Medical Oncology Group of Australia Incorporated (MOGA) in conjunction with the Unicorn Foundation is proud to announce this major Award is now open to junior consultants and advanced trainees who wish to undertake professional development in the management of neuroendocrine tumours. This Award Program will support a junior clinician to undertake an approved educational program to develop their knowledge and/or expertise in the management of neuroendocrine Tumours.

MSD HUBERT STUERZL MEMORIAL EDUCATIONAL AWARD
The 2012 MSD Award is now open for applications.
The purpose of the Award is to encourage education in the field of neuro-oncology. The Award will provide a grant of $15,000 for the successful recipient to attend a major international neuro oncology meeting (eg. SNO, EANO, Perspectives in Neuro-oncology) and undertake a preceptorship in neuro-oncology during 2012-2013. The funds will be used to support travel and accommodation requirements. The Award will be open to applications from Australian Advanced Trainees in the following specialties relevant to neuro-oncology: medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology.

GSK TRAINEE TRAVEL AWARD 2011
GlaxoSmithKline Australia (GSK) have provided the Medical Oncology Group of Australia (MOGA) with an unrestricted educational grant to assist up to thirty Australian Advanced Trainees in Medical Oncology to attend the 2011 MOGA Annual Scientific Meeting to be held in Adelaide at the Adelaide Convention Centre, South Australia from August 11–12, including the Trainees Education Session (12pm ‐ 4pm on Wednesday August 10) followed by Best of ASCO® 2011 on Saturday 13 August

CANCER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD 2011
The Medical Oncology Group of Australia (MOGA) has joined again with Novartis Oncology to make available this special award recognising outstanding Australian contributions to cancer research and control. The Cancer Achievement Award formally recognises the contributions made by scientists, clinicians and other health care professionals to the scientific study of cancer in Australia.

MOGA - IPSEN TRAINEE TRAVEL AWARD 2011
Applications are now open for the MOGA - Ipsen Trainee Travel Award.
This Award generously supported by Ipsen Pty Ltd, will provide a grant of $5,000 to the successful applicant to assist with travel costs to attend a major European Oncology meeting in 2011.

AMGEN AUSTRALIAN ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING
Abstract and Poster Awards
There will be four Awards including the Best Trainee Poster, the Best Consultant Poster, the Best Consultant Paper and the Best Trainee Paper.
The four Awards would each provide $5,000 to each successful recipient to support travel costs to attend the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology in 2012.
The Awards will be open to residents of Australia who are currently undertaking Advanced Training in Medical Oncology or are a Consultant, Medical Oncologists and have been selected to present and/or display an oral abstract or poster at the Annual Scientific Meeting in August 2010.

SANOFI AVENTIS PRECEPTORSHIP 2011
The Sanofi Aventis Preceptorship Program will afford one junior clinician with the opportunity to undertake a professional preceptorship with approved international facilities relevant to their work in medical oncology and designated cancer stream. The preceptorship, valued at a total of $9,000, is to be expended in 2011 and will provide support for economy air travel, accommodation and related costs to undertake a 5-10 day professional preceptorship.
