Cancer Treatment

The treatment of cancer requires the expertise of a number of different health care professionals, working together to treat and care for the person with cancer and their families. These include surgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, oncology nurses, dietitians and psychologists to name but a few. Which of these specialists you see will depend, in part, upon the type and stage of your cancer.
