The Sciences of Oncology Program is a 1.5 day professional training opportunity for advanced trainees in medical oncology, presented by the Medical Oncology Group of Australia. The Program aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to the scientific basis of cellular mechanisms and treatments used in medical oncology to enable advanced trainees to develop a strong knowledge base for use in practice and clinical trials.
Australian medical oncology Trainees who are members of MOGA are invited to register at no cost for the full program (no part registrations available). Priority will be given to first-time attenders and a cancellation fee will be levied on no-shows. Trainees not based in Melbourne will be provided with flights and 1-2 nights’ accommodation. Trainees based outside a 40 Km radius of the Melbourne CBD will be provided with 1 nights’ accommodation and travel assistance or parking.
