$8 million to support healthcare trials in rural and remote Australia

The Government is investing close to $8 million to support innovative multi-disciplinary healthcare trials in rural and remote Australia. 7 February 2024

6 healthcare centres to receive funding include centres in Glen Innes, NSW, Sunraysia  and Healthcare Hubs in central and northwest Victoria; Chinchilla and Killarney in Queensland; and Grand Pacific Health in coastal NSW.The grants are part of a $24.7 million, 4-year Government investment under the Innovative Models of Care Program which trials new ways of delivering multidisciplinary primary care in rural and remote communities.
