Workshop objectives

The Shaping Your Oncology Career Path workshop is a 1.5 day program designed to support early-career oncologists as they navigate the shift to consultant. Participants will have the opportunity to explore a range of career pathways within oncology, engage in discussions about the unique challenges and pressures faced by early-career oncologists, and reflect on valuable insights and lessons shared by previous YOGAs, providing a rich foundation for their own professional development and career planning.

Through interactive sessions and practical exercises in résumé writing and interview skills, participants will gain hands-on experience that builds confidence and prepares them for the clinical, professional, and career development demands of consultant life.

This engaging, skill-focused program equips participants with the knowledge, tools, and professional insights needed to thrive as they transition to consultants.

A registration fee of $150.00 + GST secures your place and ensures you don’t miss this unique learning and networking opportunity.

All participants will receive:

  • One night’s accommodation on Saturday 7 November at the Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach, including breakfast
