Inaugural Australian Cardio-Oncology Symposium 2026
14 -15 March 2026
Location: Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Sydney
The Australian Cardio-Oncology Research & Education Symposium (ACORES) is Australia’s inaugural dedicated Cardio-Oncology meeting, advancing research, education, clinical practice and collaboration nationwide. We bring clinicians, scientists, and educators together to translate evidence into improved cardiovascular care and better patient outcomes for people living with and beyond cancer.
Cardio-oncology is a fast-evolving discipline focused on addressing cardiovascular complications of cancer therapies. As cancer survival increases globally, the need to manage the cardiovascular effects of treatment is more urgent than ever. The Inaugural ACORES meeting aims to build a multidisciplinary network connecting cardiology, oncology, haematology, radiation oncology, pharmacy, and allied health.
This two-day event will host national and international experts, providing opportunities for collaboration, cutting-edge research presentations, and the development of Australia’s cardiooncology community.
Join over 150 participants across multiple fields, such as Australian-based clinicians and researchers in the field of cardio-oncology, consultant and trainee cardiologists, medical and radiation oncologists, and haematologists, Allied Health Practitioners involved in the care of patients with cancer (nurses, technicians, cancer care coordinators, exercise physiologists, physiotherapists and dieticians) and fundamental, translational and clinical researchers in cardiooncology and toxicities of anti-cancer therapies.
