ANZGOG Preceptorship 2026 | Ovarian Cancer

We are calling for applications from Medical Oncology Registrars, Trainees, Fellows and early career clinicians to present at ANZGOG's 2-day online Preceptorship this year.

The deadline to submit your application to present a talk is Thursday 1 October 2026.

‍This year the Preceptorship focus is the management and treatment of Ovarian Cancer. It will be co-Chaired and facilitated by Prof Kylie Gorringe, A/Prof Rhonda Farrell and Dr Catherine Shannon.

The Preceptorship will be held virtually over the following days:

·       Friday 20 November 2026 | 12.00pm – 5.00pm (AEDT)

‍ ‍

·       Saturday 21 November 2026 | 10.30am – 12.40pm (AEDT)

The Preceptorship 2026 Learning Objectives are
:

‍ ‍

1.      Clinical Knowledge: Enhance understanding of diagnosis, treatment pathways, and emerging therapies in gynaecological oncology.

‍ ‍

2.      Research Capacity Building: Encourage evidence-based practice and participation in gynaecological cancer research.

‍ ‍

3.      Survivorship Focus: Equip participants with tools to manage long-term physical, emotional, and psychosocial challenges faced by survivors of gynaecological cancer.

‍ ‍

4.      Mentorship and Networking: Facilitate relationships between early career professionals and leaders in the field.

‍ ‍

The Commitment:

‍ ‍

The successful applicant will be expected to prepare and present on one and/or two assigned topic/s at the preceptorship. As part of your presentation preparation, you will be supervised by a mentor over 3 weeks leading up to the preceptorship.
