2026 NBCF Research Project Grant Round Opening May 2026

The 2026 National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) Research Project Grant round will be launching in May 2026.  

This program is designed to fund investigator-initiated research projects to build Australia’s breast cancer research pipeline that addresses research questions with a clear line of sight to Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

  • Applications Open: 25 May 2026

  • Funding Available: $1.5 million over a maximum of 5 years

Please note NBCF has expanded the Principal Investigator total funding cap this year to $2 million which can be applied across the RPG and Pink Sky grant schemes (previously $1.5 million in RPG grant), for further details please see the Principal Investigator Funding Eligibility Guidelines on our website https://nbcf.org.au/research/grants-information/nbcf-grants-schemes/
