Specialist Medical Program accreditation standards
Provide your feedback to help shape the Specialist Medical Program accreditation standards
The Australian Medical Council (AMC) is undertaking a comprehensive review of the Specialist Medical Programs Standards. These are the standards used to accredit specialist medical colleges across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand to deliver training programs that lead to qualifications for the purposes of medical registration.
The AMC is inviting feedback on the scope and direction of changes, as outlined in its consultation paper.
You’re invited to contribute to the RACP’s response by sharing your thoughts through the RACP’s Member Consultations hub by 23 June 2025. Or you can provide feedback directly using the AMC’s response template.
