RACP New Fellow Survey

Did you complete your specialty training with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) between 1 May 2023 and 30 April 2024? If so, the RACP and the Medical Oncology Group of Australia (MOGA) want to hear about your experiences of training and transitioning to an early career physician.

You are invited to participate in the 2025 New Fellow Survey so that the RACP can continue to tailor resources and Continuing Professional Development activities towards your needs.

Take the survey

This anonymous survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and closes on Sunday, 22 June 2025 at 11.59PM AEST.

All responses will remain strictly confidential and will be used for quality improvement purposes only. Any identifying information from your responses will be removed and only aggregated results will be presented. The survey results contribute to a longitudinal dataset, allowing the RACP to track trends over time.

Your insights will help the RACP to:

  • understand the challenges encountered in the transition from trainee to unsupervised professional practice

  • identify areas for training improvements

  • provide tailored support and/or resources on topics new Fellows want to know more about

  • better understand the positions new Fellows occupy and any barriers associated with acquiring specialist roles.

Further information can be found on the New Fellow Survey webpage, including a summary of the results from last year’s survey.

Thank you to those who have already participated in this survey and shared their experiences with the RACP.
