MOGA Young Oncologist to Represent Australia at Korean Society of Medical Oncology Annual Meeting 2026

The Medical Oncology Group of Australia (MOGA) is pleased to announce that YOGA member Dr Dan Stout has been selected as MOGA’s nominated Young Oncologist to attend and present at the Korean Society of Medical Oncology (KSMO) Annual Meeting 2026, to be held 2–4 September in Seoul.

Based at the Royal Hobart Hospital in Tasmania, Dr Stout is a full-time Medical Oncology Consultant in his first year post-FRACP fellowship. Having trained and worked across metropolitan, regional and rural settings in Victoria and Tasmania, Dr Stout has a strong interest in improving equitable access to cancer services, particularly for patients outside major centres.

Dr Stout will participate in the KSMO Initiatives for Cancer Care Inequity – Asian Young Oncology Forum as a speaker and panellist. The forum brings together emerging oncology leaders to discuss regional challenges, exchange insights and collaborate on solutions to address inequities in cancer care. Dr Stout’s attendance will be supported by KSMO as part of MOGA’s endorsement of the meeting.

MOGA congratulates Dr Stout on this achievement and looks forward to his contribution to this important regional dialogue on cancer care equity.
