DR ANDREW PARSONSON

Medical Oncologist, Macquarie University

Dr Andrew Parsonson is a medical oncologist appointed at Nepean Hospital, Macquarie University Hospital, GenesisCare Kingswood and Hawkesbury District Hospital. His clinical interests are in breast cancers, gastrointestinal cancers and in early phase clinical research.

Alongside his clinical work, he is completing a part-time PhD through the Australian Institute of Health Innovation (AIHI) at Macquarie University, exploring the use of digital health to improve patient access to cancer clinical trials.

He is the current chair of the Young Oncologists’ Group of Australia (YOGA) and has a strong interest in the education and professional development of the next generation of oncologists.
