  • Total Indicative Remuneration Salary MD-2 $367,430 - $715,909 p.a. (pro rata) (Subject to private practice agreement)

  • Temporary from 26/6/26 up to 31/1/27 and part-time working 22.5 hours per week

About the Role

Join CALHN Cancer Services as Medical Oncologist, delivering high-quality medical oncology care at TQEH. You’ll manage complex solid tumour care in inpatient and outpatient settings, build strong clinical partnerships, and support a truly integrated, patient-first cancer service. 

Duties
• Deliver evidence-based oncology care
• Manage solid tumour patients with broad clinical scope
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and nurses
• Cover consultant leave with clear clinical leadership
• Support trials, audit and quality improvement
• Teach and supervise junior doctors and trainees

About You

You are a specialist medical oncologist ready to step into a collaborative, patient-centred service and make a real impact across a major teaching hospital network.

• Hold MBBS or equivalent with FRACP Medical Oncology
• Maintain current specialist registration and ongoing CME
• Deliver high-quality, ethical care across solid tumour services
• Work confidently within multidisciplinary oncology teams
• Contribute to teaching, audit and quality improvement work
