The Solace Clinic is a newly established private haematology and medical oncology day hospital, set to open in July on the Sunshine Coast, located on Level 7 of Maroochy Private Hospital. We are seeking a Medical Oncologist to join our team of experienced clinicians.

About the facility

The Solace Clinic has been architecturally designed around patient experience and clinical excellence, featuring:

  • 8 specialist consulting suites

  • A licensed day infusion unit with 15 treatment chairs & 4 beds

  • An onsite compounding pharmacy

  • Dedicated clinical trials space, with genuine opportunity to build a trials program in a region currently underserved for trial access

  • Licensed commercial kitchen, supporting the delivery of high-quality nutrition and hospitality to patients throughout their care

The Solace Clinic is a fully integrated facility - designed so that every step of the patient journey, from initial consultation to treatment delivery, flows seamlessly under one roof.

About the role

You’ll join an established team of specialists delivering the highest standard of cancer care in a purpose-built private setting. In this role you will provide comprehensive medical oncology care from initial consultation through to treatment delivery and ongoing clinical management within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Working alongside experienced colleagues already practising at the clinic, and supported by an extremely experienced management, administration, and nursing team, you’ll help shape a service defined by clinical excellence and patient care.

Growing your practice

Day Hospital Partners provides hands-on support to help you build and grow your practice, including business development assistance, practice management support, and the infrastructure to focus on patients rather than admin.

About you

  • FRACP qualification in Medical Oncology

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • A collaborative approach to multidisciplinary care

  • Interest in contributing to a clinic culture built around premium patient experience
