Expressions of Interest - Voluntary Assisted Dying Review Board
Expressions of interest are being sought for a new member to join the Voluntary Assisted Dying Review Board. Subject to final appointment by the Minister for Health and Wellbeing, the position is expected to commence in approximately August 2026 for a term of up to three years.
Expressions of interest are invited from both South Australian Government employees and external applicants with relevant skills, knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:
• governance and risk management
• safety and quality
• Aboriginal healthcare design and delivery
• health policy and legislation
• medication management
• community engagement
• clinical expertise and clinician engagement
• law and ethics.

Expressions of interest should be submitted to Health.VADReviewBoard@sa.gov.au, no later than 11.55pm on Sunday, 19 July 2026.
Individuals who expressed interest in joining the Review Board through the recruitment process conducted in late 2025 do not need to reapply, as their applications will be considered as part of this recruitment round.
